3d Printing

3d printing Highland Manufacturing

At Highland Manufacturing we utilize Formlabs SLA 3d printers with a variety of resin based materials to quickly produce proto-type fixturing for concept try-out as well as molds to produce an assortment of rubber/epoxy based molded components. Machining metal molds can be an expensive proposition, especially when in the developmental stages. 3d printing the molds provides a cost and time savings for our customers.

Engineering Capabilities

With over 75 years combined experience, the engineering department specializes in tool, fixture, gage, die and special machinery design. We also develop 3-D models and process operation sheets to customer’s specifications. Our talented designers use NX while our programmers use Mastercam.
